Visit to Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Wintersberg Flood Control Channel

On April 1, 2016 Coastal Angels investigated the level of pollution at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Wintersberg Flood Control Channel. As you can tell, there are many species of birds and plant life in the pictures, surviving among the trash and pollutants from urban runoff and people who improperly discard waste. Plastic pollution is only getting worse and worse in Orange County, California and we have to work together to bring awareness and solutions to this garbage problem. We live in one of the most expensive counties in the entire Unite States, with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. How can we allow trash to go unnoticed? How can we allow endangered species to be born surrounded by garbage? Join Coastal Angels in the fight to create awareness about Plastic Pollution in Orange County, CA by emailing us at
