Visit to Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Wintersberg Flood Control Channel

On April 1, 2016 Coastal Angels investigated the level of pollution at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Wintersberg Flood Control Channel. As you can tell, there are many species of birds and plant life in the pictures, surviving among the trash and pollutants from urban runoff and people who improperly discard waste.

First Anniversary and 10th Cleanup

What an incredible journey a year of hosting beach cleanups has been. March 26th marks our first anniversary and 10th beach cleanup. We started the day off with a goal of collecting 105 lbs of trash. Groups that attended were CSUF Student Veteran Association (SVA), CSUF Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG), GWC Sigma Pi Chapter, and individuals that span from Victorville, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

On Saturday, February 27, 2016 Coastal Angels hosted their 9th Beach Cleanup at Bolsa Chica State Beach. California State University, Fullerton Softball Club, Garden Grove High School Environmental Club, and our family from Victorville all helped collect more than 103 lbs of trash!
